Adding your shifts to your calendar

Subscribe to your WeRoster shifts in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook with your private calendar feed link.

2 min read

Every WeRoster user has a private calendar feed link that puts their shifts into the calendar app on their phone or computer. Copy it from the Calendar feed section of your Settings page, then subscribe to it in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. Your calendar app keeps it up to date on its own.

Your link changed in October 2026. Calendar links are now private random links, and the old ones have stopped working. If you subscribed before then, copy your new link and add it to your calendar app once. You can remove the old calendar, which will stay empty.

  1. Open the account menu (your initials in the top right, or Account in the bottom bar on a phone) and choose Settings.
  2. Scroll to Calendar feed.
  3. Click Copy link. The button changes to Copied.

Subscribing

The Calendar feed section links to the instructions for Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook:

  • Apple Calendar: add a subscribed calendar and paste the link.
  • Google Calendar: under Other calendars, choose From URL and paste the link. This has to be done in Google Calendar on a computer.
  • Outlook: subscribe to a calendar from the web and paste the link.

Use "subscribe" rather than "import". Importing only copies the shifts once and won't pick up changes.

What's in the feed

The feed shows your shifts from last week, this week and the next two weeks, across every store you work at, with the store name and any day note your manager added. Your calendar app decides how often to check for changes, which can take a few hours (Google Calendar is often the slowest).

Shifts can show in the feed before your manager publishes the roster, so treat your Timetable or the Roster Published email as the final word.

Keep it private

Anyone with the link can see your shifts, so don't share it. If it does get shared, click Reset link in the Calendar feed section and confirm. The old link stops working straight away, and you'll need to add the new one to your calendar app.

Who can do this

Everyone: employees, managers and owners.
