Your Timetable

Your home page in WeRoster: your next shift, your week, the full roster, your leave, and for managers a card for each store with who's on now and what needs doing.

4 min read

When you log in, you land on your Timetable. It shows your next shift, how many shifts you have this week and next, your week day by day, and your leave requests. Owners and managers also get a card for each of their stores. Your shifts only show once your manager has published the roster.

The Timetable replaced the old Dashboard and Overview pages. Old links and bookmarks to those pages now open your Timetable.

Your next shift

The big card at the top says Your next shift with the day and times, for example Tomorrow, 9am to 5pm, plus how long until it starts, how many hours it is and who you're working with. While you're working it says On shift now and when you finish. Public holidays show as a blue label.

  • Full roster opens the whole team's roster for that week. Tap a day along the top to see who's working (a dot marks the days you're on, and your own row is labelled You).
  • Can't make it? opens Request leave with that day already filled in. See Requesting leave.

If you have no shifts coming up, the card says Nothing rostered yet and tells you whether next week's roster just isn't published yet. Use Update availability to let your manager know when you can work.

Next to the card (or at the bottom of it on a phone), This week and Next week show how many shifts and hours you have, or Pending if that roster isn't published yet.

Your stores (owners and managers)

Below your next shift, owners and managers see a card for each store they run (up to six, with a link like All 8 stores if you have more). Each card shows:

  • On now: who's rostered right now, and Today: how many people are working today. These show once this week's roster is published.
  • This week or Next week: Not published yet or Not started, with a Finish or Start link straight to that roster. Once next week is published it says Published.
  • Leave: how many leave requests are waiting, with Review.
  • Shifts: how many clocked shifts are waiting to be approved, with Review (only when shift tracking is on).

Click the store name to open the store.

Your week

The week section starts on This week and lists each day with your shifts, who you're working with, any day note from your manager and public holidays. Days you're not working say Off. Use the arrows to move to other weeks, and This week to jump back. If a week isn't published yet, it says Not published yet and your shifts appear as soon as it is.

Full roster (or See the full roster on a phone) opens the whole team's roster for the week you're looking at.

Leave

The Leave section lists your upcoming leave requests at this store with their status: Waiting for a reply, Approved or Denied, plus any comment from your manager. Older requests are under Past requests. Click Request leave here or at the top of the page to ask for time off.

Clock in and out

If your store lets staff clock in from their own account, a Clock in and out section shows your recent worked shifts and a Start shift button. See Turning on shift tracking.

More than one store

If you work at more than one store, click the store name under the Timetable heading and pick another under Switch store. WeRoster remembers your choice.

On a phone

The Timetable works the same way on a phone. Use the bottom bar to move between Timetable, Availability, Stores (owners and managers) and Account. The Availability button at the top of the page is only on larger screens, so use the Availability tab instead.

Getting your shifts elsewhere

  • Email: you get a Roster Published email with your shifts each time your manager publishes and notifies the team, and a Roster Changed email if they notify you of changes. Make sure your email is verified in Settings.
  • Your calendar app: see Adding your shifts to your calendar.
  • Ask Ros: tap Ask Ros and ask something like "When am I working next?". See Asking Ros for help.

Who can do this

Everyone has a Timetable. The store cards only show for owners and managers, and the week and leave sections only show if you're on a store's staff list (owners and managers who roster themselves included).
