Archiving a store
Archive a store you no longer use so it's hidden from staff and stops counting towards your subscription, and reactivate it later.

If a store closes or you stop rostering it, archive it rather than leaving it running. Archived stores are hidden from staff and don't count towards your subscription, and everything is kept: you can reactivate the store at any time.
Archiving
- Open the store and click the Settings tab (on a phone, swipe the tabs sideways to find it).
- In the Ownership section, find Archive store and click Archive store.
- Confirm with Archive store.
You're taken back to the Stores page.
What happens
- Staff lose access to the store's rosters until it's reactivated.
- Rosters at the store can't be published or notified.
- People who only work at this store no longer count towards your plan. See Plans and pricing.
- The store moves to Archived stores at the bottom of your Stores page, and shows an Archived label next to its name.
Nothing is deleted. Rosters, staff, leave and shifts are all still there.
Reactivating
- On the Stores page, click the store under Archived stores. This opens its Settings tab.
- At the top, under This store is archived, click Reactivate store.
The store is active again straight away and staff get their access back.
Who can do this
Only the store's owner. Managers can still see an archived store under Archived stores, but can't reactivate it.
