Each employee has an Hourly wage and Weekly hours for each store they work at. Change them for one person by clicking their row on the store's Staff tab, or change several people at once with the Wages and hours button above the list.
One person
- Open the store and click the Staff tab.
- Click the person's row, or Edit on a computer. On a phone, tap their card.
- Change Hourly wage (for example
23.50) and/or Weekly hours (a number like20or a range like15-20). - Click Save changes.
You can also correct their First name, Last name and Email here. If you change the email, they need to confirm the new address before they get emails again. A store owner's own name and email can only be changed by them in their account Settings.
Several people at once
This works on computers and phones.
- On the Staff tab, click Wages and hours above the Employees list. Managers who can't see wages see Hours instead.
- Enter a new Hourly wage, new Weekly hours, or both. Leave a box empty to keep what each person has now.
- Under Apply to, tick each person to change, or click Select all.
- Click Update (the button shows how many people, for example Update 3 people).
What the numbers are used for
- Hourly wage feeds the wage costs on the roster. See Wage costs and estimated sales.
- Weekly hours drives the contracted hours warnings. See Contracted hours warnings.
Wages and hours are per store, so someone who works at two of your stores can have different rates at each.
Who can do this
Owners and managers can change weekly hours. Wages are visible and editable by the owner, and by managers only when the owner has turned on Managers can see wages in the store's Settings tab. Only the owner can change that setting.
