Know another business owner who's still rostering in a spreadsheet? Open the account menu, choose Refer a friend, and send them your link. They get 10% off their WeRoster subscription. When they make their first payment, you get 10% off one of your invoices, and you earn a reward like this for every business you refer that pays.

  1. Open the account menu: click your initials and name in the top right on a computer, or tap Account in the bottom bar on a phone.
  2. Choose Refer a friend.
  3. Click Copy to copy your link, or share it straight away with Facebook, X or Email.

You can also open it from the Subscription page: the Referral rewards section has a Get your referral link (or Share your link) link.

Refer a friend only shows once you have an active paid subscription. It's hidden during your free trial.

What your friend sees

When they open your link, WeRoster shows a banner: A friend referred you, so you'll get 10% off when you subscribe. They sign up as normal with Start free trial. During their trial, a banner reminds them Your 10% referral discount is waiting whenever you're ready to subscribe. When they start their subscription, the summary on the Subscription page says Your 10% referral discount comes off these amounts.

WeRoster remembers the referral in the browser they opened your link in, so ask them to click the link and sign up in that same browser rather than typing the address.

Your rewards

  • Each business you refer earns you one reward when it makes its first payment: 10% off one of your invoices.
  • You get a You earned 10% off WeRoster email when that happens, then a Your referral discount is on its way email when it's added to your subscription. It comes off your next invoice automatically.
  • One reward goes on at a time. If you've earned several, the rest wait and go on your following invoices, one per invoice.
  • If you don't have an active subscription when you earn one, it's saved until you subscribe.

The Referral rewards section on the Subscription page shows how many rewards you've earned, how many have been used and how many are waiting.
