Copying a roster to another week
Copy last week into this one, copy a week forward to any other week, or copy a single day, so you're not starting from scratch.

Most weeks look a lot like the last one, so you don't need to start from scratch. Open the new week, click More and choose Copy last week into this one…. Or, from the week you want to copy, choose Copy to another week… and pick where it goes. You can also copy a single day to the day before or after.
Copying last week into this one
This is the quickest way to start a new week.
- Open the week you want to fill (for example, click Next week's roster on the store's Rosters tab).
- Click More at the top (the ⋯ button on a phone).
- Choose Copy last week into this one….
- The confirmation names both weeks. Click Copy and replace.
Every shift, role, day note and estimated sales figure from the previous week is copied in, ready to tweak.
Copying a week to another week
- Open the roster you want to copy from.
- Click More (the ⋯ button on a phone) and choose Copy to another week….
- Under Copy to, pick Following week, In 2 weeks or In 3 weeks, or choose any date under Or pick any week. WeRoster copies to the Monday to Sunday week containing that date.
- Check the orange warning, which says how many hours that week already has, then click Copy and replace.
You'll see a message confirming the week it was copied to. Open that week to adjust it.
Heads up: copying replaces everything in the target week, including shifts, roles, notes and estimated sales. It can't be undone. You can't copy a week onto itself, and you can't copy onto a locked week: unlock it first.
A copied week isn't published. Publish it when it's ready. See Publishing, notifying and locking rosters.
Copying a single day
- On the roster, click the ⋯ button on the day you want to copy.
- Choose Copy to the day before or after (for example Copy to Tuesday…).
- Confirm with Copy and replace.
This replaces the shifts on the other day with this day's shifts. Monday can only be copied forward and Sunday only back.
Clearing a day
To start a day again, click its ⋯ button, choose Clear day…, and confirm with Clear day. Every shift on that day is removed and can't be brought back.
Who can do this
Owners and managers. A locked roster can't be changed, so Copy last week into this one… and the day menu don't appear until you unlock it.
